We are recruiting for an exciting opportunity for a Finance Analyst to join an automotive business in the Northamptonshire area.
JOB TITLE
Finance Analyst
SALARY

THE ROLE
Assist with month end journals, reporting and balance sheet reconciliations.
Assist with budgeting, forecasting and new project analysis.
Helping Finance with stock analysis, stock valuation, internal stock audits and month end stock reporting.
You will also assist with supplier upload into Quickbooks, negotiating terms with suppliers and supplier relationship management.
You will support Management in Supply Chain meetings and attend the Production meeting every morning.
You will support the UK with WIP calculations and scheduling of cars.
You will be the go-to individual within finance for BOM management.
You will raise Non-Production purchase orders on the accounting system and send to suppliers.
You will be able to become a Stock system super user and answer any questions on the system.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
You will ideally be data driven, with a strong background in data analytics, experience in finance is also a major plus.
As one of our Team you will naturally have an understanding and appreciation for manufacturing and brand requirements.
We work in a fast-paced environment so the ability to act under pressure with calmness, clarity of thought and decisive authority is crucial.
You may need to travel to off-site supplier facilities, within the UK and throughout Europe, therefore a flexible approach to travel is required.
You may need to adapt your working hours to meet the requirements of the business and integrate with the USA.
You will have the determination to drive forward the business to ‘Best-in-Class’ performance standards in line with brand expectations and be a lateral thinker able to think outside of the box to make structured and objective decisions
Other traits of a successful Sing employee will include excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and excellent attention to detail
REQUIREMENTS
Finance experience and understanding of finance terminology
Stock experience and knowledge of Supply Chain and Logistics
Demonstrable experience within a manufacturing environment, ideally from with the automotive industry
Excellent proficiency in all MS packages inc. Advanced skills in MS Excel, MS PowerPoint & other finance data management and modelling tools.
Full driving licence with ability to drive between the UK sites
SKILLS REQUIRED
Good general education, with a broad exposure to office procedures and software packages.
Used to working on your own initiative with the interpersonal skills to develop cross-functional relationships.
Microsoft Office skills, with at least Intermediate Excel and Word knowledge. Use of basic accounting systems such as QuickBooks or Sage.
EXPERIENCE:
Used to working in a small finance office and team environment where close relationships with colleagues are key.
Used to dealing with customers, suppliers and employees.
