ROLE PURPOSE

We are seeking a talented and motivated Junior CAD Engineer to join our Client’s design team. In this role, you will use CATIA V5 to create and modify 3D models and 2D drawings for automotive components and systems. You will work closely with senior engineers and cross-functional teams to support the design and development of innovative automotive solutions for their OEM.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Create and modify 3D models and 2D drawings of automotive components using CATIA V5

• Assist in the design and development of automotive parts and assemblies

• Collaborate with senior engineers to implement design changes and improvements

• Ensure designs meet customer specifications, industry standards, and manufacturing requirements

• Participate in design reviews and provide input on design feasibility

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date CAD files and documentation

• Support prototype development and testing activities

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or related field

• 0-2 years of experience in CAD design, preferably in the automotive industry

• Proficiency in CATIA V5, including part modeling, assembly, and drafting

• Basic understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing)

• Knowledge of automotive design principles and manufacturing processes

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
