PROJECT MANAGER (PSW/PPAP)

We are recruiting an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager (PSW/PPAP) to join an innovate design, engineering and manufacturing business in the West Midlands area :

£45,000-£50,000 (pro-rata)

CONTRACT TERM

6 Month - Fixed Term

ROLE PURPOSE

We are seeking a proactive Project Manager to oversee critical projects on a 6-month fixed-term contract. You will play a pivotal role in driving project delivery, ensuring compliance with engineering standards (PSW/PPAP).

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead end-to-end project management, including timelines (via GANTT charts), risk mitigation, and resource allocation.

• Maintain open issues lists to track progress and resolve bottlenecks efficiently.

• Facilitate and attend cross-functional team meetings to align stakeholders and ensure project milestones are met.

• Oversee RFI/RFQ processes, including documentation, supplier communication, and technical evaluations.

• Ensure compliance, and support with implementation of PSW/PPAP requirements and industry quality standards.

• Report project status to senior leadership, highlighting risks, budgets, and deliverables.

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Proven experience in project management, ideally within the engineering, or manufacturing sectors.

• Strong understanding of PSW/PPAP processes and quality assurance frameworks.

• Proficiency in creating and managing GANTT charts, open issues logs, and project documentation.

• Experience leading RFI/RFQ processes and vendor negotiations.

• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

• Strong communication skills for liaising with technical teams, suppliers, and stakeholders.
