We are recruiting an exciting opportunity for a Sales Manager to join a engineering business in the Warwickshire area : 


Sales Manager 


£45,000 - £50,000 + Car Allowance 




As a high-performing Sales Manager you will help us meet our customer acquisition and revenue growth targets by keeping our company competitive and innovative. You will be responsible for maximising our sales team potential, designing sales plans, and justifying those to plans to the Senior Management Team.


  • Developing and implementing strategic sales plans that expand a company’s customer base and solidify its presence

  • Achieving growth and hitting sales targets by successfully managing sales teams and by assessing the team’s strengths and weaknesses

  • Establishing productive and professional relationships with key personnel in assigned customer accounts

  • Building and promoting healthy, long-lasting customer relations by partnering with them

  • Quoting on requests from current clients and new clients

  • Developing and implementing new sales initiatives, strategies and programmes to capture key demographics


  • To identify opportunities in sales and profits

  • Develop the Sales Team to achieve or exceed set sales performance targets.

  • Skilled in data analysis and managing customers using customer relationship management (CRM)

  • Quotation generation – Formal written quotes and QAF completion

  • Three to five years’ experience working in the sales field.

  • Proven, successful track record in leading a sales department to achieve its goals.

  • Skilled in data analysis and managing customers using customer relationship management (CRM).

  • The ideal candidate will have a degree in Business, or Engineering, however an aspiring sales manager with a demonstrable experience in an appropriate field will also be considered.

  • Ideally knowledge of the Automotive, Aerospace or similar Technical industry

  • Computer technology and media skills are also crucial for advertising and media sales.

  • A qualification in commercial or business law will be beneficial.
