VEHICLE/PROJECT BUILD TECHNICIAN

We are recruiting an exciting opportunity for multiple Vehicle / Project Build Technicians to join an automotive business in the Northamptonshire area : 

JOB TITLE 

Vehicle/Project Build Technician

SALARY

£45,000 (circa)

LOCATION

Daventry, Northamptonshire

ROLE PURPOSE

• Working in a team of multi-skilled technicians, making sure operational priorities are recognised and deadlines met.

• Effective and open communication with Engineers

• Raise parts requests to Stores in a timely manner

• Assist with prototype documentation

• Liaise with key Test Engineers and HVO regarding meeting project timings

• Maintain company tools and equipment as supplied

• Maintain exceptional standards throughout the workplace

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Ideally from an Automotive / Motorsport / Prototype Operations / Product Development background

• General Assembly

• Powertrain, especially engine build or transmission skills

• Chassis sub-assembly

• Brake systems

• Body In White skills or fabrication

• Electrical assembly / instrumentation

• Experience in Toolroom facilities and machines would be particularly useful
