SALARY
Up to £60,000 (dependent on experience) + £8k bonus + £3.5k car allowance

To be the Ofsted registered Responsible Individual for all designated Homes
Line manage each of the Registered Managers who are responsible for the day to day operation of these homes .
Act on behalf of the organisation to ensure that the Homes meet relevant requirements and the highest standards of care are achieved, furthermore to maintain at least ‘Good’ ratings with Ofsted, with the aim of achieving ‘Outstanding’.
Support the directors with strategic direction, business growth, and excellent leadership, which reflects the organisation’s aspirational plans.
Take the lead in liaising and meeting with Local Authority Commissioners, to develop and enhance constructive working relationships.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensure young people in the Children’s Homes are effectively safeguarded, aided by systems being implemented to monitor care plans and placement plans, activities and community involvement, and provide oversight of individual care planning for all young people supported by the company.
Support the process of establishing and maintaining a healthy, stable and safe motivated staff team in all homes – ensuring a high level of working at all times.
Conduct home inspections and spot checks to provide feedback to Registered Managers based on performance and outcomes, to ensure the children's homes are fully prepared and ready for Ofsted inspections.
Ensuring through the monitoring of Regulation 44 and Regulation 45 visits, and reviews, that timely targeted plans are in place to address issues and celebrate success.
Responsible for budget management and overall performance of the homes.
Provide regular formal and informal supervision and management of managers, encouraging professional development, completing and identifying training and staff
Investigate any required complaints and ensure they are responded to, which includes completing management investigations and disciplinary hearings as and when required.
Develop and maintain effective stakeholder relationships that add value to the services and promote the organisation.
Support the growth of the company as per the company’s development plan.
EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
Multi-site management experience within children’s residential care
Positive dealings with Ofsted
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management
Posses the drive to succeed
Willingness travel and be flexible
Full driving licence
