We are recruiting an exciting opportunity for a Sales Manager to join a global manufacturer who are experts in Design, Manufacturing and Recycling :

£50,000 - £60,000 + car allowance + bonuses

Remote / Home based (Covering UK)


ROLE PURPOSE


Our client is actively seeking a Sales Manager / Business Development Manager to join their team due to continued growth within the company.  This is a remote role but covering the UK to increase sales, and new business within their industry sector.


You would be a trusted member of the UK sales team with personal responsibility for developing a network of influential prospects through which to promote and justify the environmental/cost benefits of packaging products. 


You will recognise and justify applications where the company can tangibly deliver these benefits via the provision of bespoke, versatile and cost-effective product solutions.


Ideally you will have a strong network, and able to build sales and, business relationships within Automotive, Automation, or Pharmaceuticals/Medical Industry.


Your aim is to become an ambassador for carbon/cost reduction via the principles of the circular economy with the creativity and resourcefulness to develop/sustain a pipeline of qualified sales leads that convert to incremental year-on-year revenue growth from new customers originating from your growing network.


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Working closely with local/group marketing to define and understand, targeted markets and applications where reusable and recyclable packaging solutions offer a sustainable and cost beneficial solution to future client business models.

  • Research, identify, engage and build relationships with decision makers and influencers within your targeted market to recognise the future demands and benefits of the bespoke solutions available.

  • Developing your existing networks to identify new business prospects and work collaboratively with the task of converting leads in to viable sales actions.

  • Work closely with internal teams of the successful delivery of new bespoke returnable packaging and to deliver without compromise across your client portfolio.


EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS


  • Proven experience within a similar filed, selling bespoke packaging solutions across all market sectors, this should include Automotive, Food, Medical and or FMCG markets.

  • Hold suitable qualifications, preferably degree qualified in either engineering or business development with a minimum of 3 years direct experience in sales.

  • Be able to demonstrate a successful career in generating and converting leads to full sales opportunity with year om tear growth.

  • Possess high level communication and planning skills, the ability to interact with all personnel that you would have direct contact with, from internal development and project management teams to external decision makers within the prospected customer portfolio.

  • Confident and professional communicator (verbal, written and face-to-face presentation)

  • Organised with a structured and driven approach to networking, market research and lead generation.

  • Proficient in the use of social media and business networking applications as a business development tool.

  • Practical IT skills proficient in the use of Microsoft Word and Excel and PowerPoint.
