Role: BEV xHEV Domain Support

Scope of Role
Responsible for supporting Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV) and xHEV integration projects, with a strong focus on software and controls. This role combines technical delivery with project management, ensuring robust integration of control systems and software architectures for electrified propulsion platforms.
Area of Responsibility
· Lead and manage BEV integration projects, coordinating cross-functional teams (software, controls, validation, suppliers).
· Develop and refine software architecture concepts and control strategies for BEV platforms.
· Oversee project timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder communications, ensuring alignment with customer requirements.
· Collaborate with simulation and CAE teams to validate software concepts and control logic.
· Translate control concepts into actionable software requirements and calibration targets.
· Support integration of control strategies into MIL/SIL environments for early validation.
· Ensure compliance with functional safety (ISO 26262), cybersecurity, and system robustness standards.
· Document and present project status, software concepts, and control strategies to internal and customer stakeholders.
· Apply project management best practices, including risk management, resource allocation, and milestone tracking.
· Lead or support design verification (DV) planning, execution, and defect resolution.
· Manage supplier engagement, design reviews, DFMEA, and FUSA documentation.
· Support benchmarking, innovation scouting, and proposal development for future BEV technologies.
· Ensure alignment with functional safety, cybersecurity, and system robustness requirements.
· Document and present software concepts and control strategies to internal and customer stakeholders.
Knowledge / Experience
· Proven project management experience in automotive or electrified powertrain domains (preferably BEV).
· Strong background in software integration, controls, and model-based development (Simulink/Stateflow).
· Familiarity with BEV system architectures, EMS, VSC, and energy management strategies.
· Experience with systems engineering tools (DOORS, JIRA, Vector CANoe/CANape).
· Understanding of EV charging protocols, standards (ISO 15118, OCPP, SAE J1772), and interoperability testing.
· Knowledge of functional safety (ISO 26262), calibration robustness, and FUSA processes.
· Degree in Electrical, Automotive, Control Systems, or Software Engineering (Master’s preferred).
· Minimum 8–12 years of relevant experience in electrified powertrain, controls, or software integration.
